The Hineni (I am here) program at the Danilack Middle School of Associated makes students aware of the many ways in which they can have a positive impact on the world around them. Many students are taking action in order to make a difference. One of them is Ehden Keselman whose Hineni act was to cut her hair and donate it to the “Pantene Beautiful Lengths” program, which provides wigs for cancer patients. After seeing her mom’s best friend lose her hair while undergoing cancer treatment, Ehden decided to grow her hair to the required minimum 8” for donations. It took a couple of years but in the end over 9” were grown and donated. Yasher Koach to Ehden and we look forward to sharing more acts of Hineni with our community.
